**Account Information** Your email address, used for authentication and account communication. **Home Profile** Your home address, year built, and square footage — used to personalize your Home IQ score and maintenance recommendations. **Home Issues & Diagnoses** Problems you describe or photograph, along with AI-generated diagnoses. Photos are stored securely and used only for diagnosis. **Maintenance History** Your task schedule, completion records, and home improvement history. **Usage Data** Anonymous usage patterns (features used, page visits) to improve Berry's recommendations. This data does not include personally identifiable information.

Berry uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate diagnoses, maintenance advice, and home tips. When you log an issue or request a diagnosis, relevant details (your description, home age, location) are sent to Anthropic's API servers for processing. Anthropic's privacy policy governs that data processing. We do not send your full home address or personally identifiable information to AI APIs — only general details like home age, climate region, and issue descriptions.
All data is stored in Supabase, a US-based cloud database provider. Your data is: • Encrypted at rest using AES-256 • Encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 • Accessible only with valid authentication • Backed up daily with point-in-time recovery We follow industry-standard security practices and conduct regular security reviews.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with: • **Supabase** — database and authentication provider • **Anthropic** — AI processing for diagnoses and recommendations • **Vercel** — application hosting All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.
You have the right to: • Access a copy of all data Berry holds about you • Correct inaccurate data • Request deletion of your account and all associated data • Opt out of marketing communications at any time • Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@berryapp.co. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete all associated personal data within 30 days, except where required by law to retain records.
Berry is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before changes take effect.
