Berry is free to start. Berry Pro is $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year and unlocks unlimited diagnoses, your full maintenance plan, weather alerts for your home, and a weekly home briefing. Pro is purchased in the iOS app through the App Store and starts with a 7-day free trial.
How does photo diagnosis work?
Take a photo of the problem or describe it, and answer a few quick follow-up questions if Berry asks. Berry identifies the likely cause, rates how urgent it is, and shows DIY steps next to a typical pro repair cost so you can pick the route that makes sense. It is an AI estimate, so have a licensed pro confirm anything involving gas, major electrical work, or structural damage.
What is HomeIQ?
HomeIQ is a single score for the overall health of your home. It weighs the age of major systems like your roof, HVAC, and water heater against their expected lifespan, whether maintenance is getting done on time, and any open issues. Fixing problems and finishing tasks raises it. Aging systems and overdue upkeep lower it.
What is in the maintenance plan?
When you set up your home, Berry builds a plan of 12 to 16 tasks based on its age, type, location, and the appliances you add. Each task comes with a due date, how often to repeat it, why it matters, time and cost estimates, and how hard it is to do yourself.
